Giving is not just about making a donation, but making a difference…

Houston Area Parkinson Society is the only local Parkinson’s resource in the eight-county area that serves and supports individuals with Parkinson’s disease and their families from point of diagnosis and beyond.

Because Parkinson’s affects every aspect of life, HAPS takes a unique approach to care by providing specialized programs such as exercise classes, support groups, enrichment activities, social services, and education programs–all free of charge.

Our goal is to ensure that no one faces a Parkinson’s diagnosis alone. We provide hope by empowering and engaging individuals and families in ways that are meaningful. We do this by connecting people to resources that build confidence and give the support needed to live life with the disease to its fullest.

During this season of generosity we invite you to be a part of our mission by remembering HAPS in your year-end giving. Your gift plays a significant role in continuing essential programs for our community.

We are grateful for your support and your help in caring for our community.

Double your impact this holiday season. Thanks to a generous donation by HAPS Advisory Board member Dr. Terry Satterwhite, all gifts to HAPS through December 31st will be matched up to $10,000.
