Step out of the heat and into the Summer Lecture Series during the months of June, July, and August! Since 2011, Houston Area Parkinson Society has hosted this fun summer-themed event to provide participants with an opportunity to hear experts present on topics relevant to improving everyday life with Parkinson’s disease.
Each session includes one educational lecture and is immediately followed by a movement lab featuring a different exercise discipline. The movement lab portion offers the opportunity to get moving and try something new.
As always, these events are free of charge, but only take place in the summer. Registration is open. Each person should register separately. We are down to the final session of the series. Please click the button below to register. Summer gear and Hawaiian shirts encouraged!
This year’s program is as follows. If you would like information about previous sessions, please contact the HAPS office at 713.626.7114. We thank our generous sponsors.
