Step out of the heat and into the Summer Lecture Series during the months of June, July, and August! Since 2011, Houston Area Parkinson Society has hosted this fun summer-themed event to provide participants with an opportunity to hear experts present on topics relevant to improving everyday life with Parkinson’s disease.
Each session includes one educational lecture and is immediately followed by a movement lab featuring a different exercise discipline. The movement lab portion offers the opportunity to get moving and try something new.
This year’s Summer Lecture Series has wrapped up. If you would like information from one of the 2023 sessions, please contact the HAPS office.
Stay tuned for information coming in the next couple of months about the 2024 sessions.
