Hand dexterity is defined in part as being able to perform fine motor movements quickly and correctly. Dexterity is one of the most important aspects of hand functioning and is seen to be impaired in clients with Parkinson’s, even those who have been newly diagnosed. This virtual class teaches techniques that help maintain and improve skills that encourage independence and that are needed to participate in activities of daily life such as dressing, texting, or writing.
