Exercise, Support & Enrichment

HAPS therapeutic exercise programs offers individuals with Parkinson’s disease and related disorders and their care partners with many weekly in-person or virtual classes. Participants can choose from traditional exercise, water, speech, yoga, tai chi, dance, PWR!Moves, ping pong and more. Sessions are led by trained professionals in a group setting. Our sessions are not a substitute for physical, occupational, or speech therapy despite often being led by these professionals. Our groups are a great supplement for what individuals receive in one-on-one therapy, which we believe is important at any stage in the disease. You should feel empowered to ask your physician for referrals to traditional therapy and join our classes too!

Monthly support groups are professionally led by licensed master’s level social workers with decades of experience and training in working with the Parkinson’s community.
