Houston Area Parkinson Society hosted the 9th Caregiver Conference on Saturday, November 12th. This special, full-day educational event is designed exclusively for those caring for individuals with Parkinson’s disease (PD). The biennial conference offers participants helpful, practical information that is important to understanding and managing care of someone with PD. Caregivers have the opportunity to learn new skills and discover resources that focused on the care of their loved one as well as self-care. It is also a great time for caregivers to meet in-person and share with others in the caregiving role.
Our next THRIVE Caregiver Conference will be held in 2024. Stay tuned for more information on this event and other exclusive programs offered for caregivers. See below for the 2022 conference agenda and speaker information. If you would like additional details on these topics, contact the HAPS office at 713.313.1706.
